The Scarab is pretty good because it is small, armored, heavy, and accelerates quickly, but now we're getting into niche uses and counter-counter strategies. The ZR380 is good for Wreck It, but make sure to equip it with kinetic mines so you can take out Deathbikes. So these three are required if you want to be competitive in every mode. It also has its own game mode (Buzzer Beater), as do the Sasquatch and Issi (Here Come The Monsters). (I have a clean Apocalypse Issi and Apocalypse Deathbike, along with an armed/armored Apocalypse Issi and Future Shock Deathbike for use in the arena.)īy the way, the Deathbike dominates most game modes, so if you're serious about the arena you need to get one of these. But who wants to get all the arena rewards anyway? Usually you only need one of the three types, unless you for example want to make an arena version and a clean version. I think there are also rewards linked to winning game modes in the three vehicle categories. Another example would be the large scoops on the Scarab, where the Future Shock version is not as long and in my opinion not as effective at flipping vehicles. Future Shock vehicles have their own models in the game files, meaning they are very distinct visually when it comes to customization, but in terms of game-play they are essentially the same as Apocalypse/Nightmare, except for a small number of minor differences.įor example the Apocalypse Deathbike needs the heavy armor plating with the shield to get 100% armor, whereas for the Future Shock Deathbike all the armor plating options after the first two give 100% armor, meaning you don't necessarily need the shield to get full armor. Only in rare cases do they have physically different customization parts, like the Apocalypse Slamvan heavy armor plating is a dinosaur skeleton, while the Nightmare Slamvan has a giant eCola can. They also have different sets of liveries. Are the common names depicting that these are the same vehicles only with different prefixes? Is there any advantage to owning three instances of the same named vehicles (Nightmare, Apocalypse, Future Shock)Īpocalypse and Nightmare are exactly the same in terms of game-play, except where the Apocalypse vehicles have rust, the Nightmare ones have clown colors and brands. Note: I have completely upgraded my arena workshop and have all the full garage space as well as all customization for my workshop and all garages. Here are the vehicles I purchased on sale:Īre the common names depicting that these are the same vehicles only with different prefixes? Is there any advantage to owning three instances of the same named vehicles (Nightmare, Apocalypse, Future Shock) In the Arena War Tab, there are two tabs for vehicles, "Buy Upgradeable Vehicles" and "Buy Arena Ready Vehicles." This is a little confusing as they are different vehicles in both tabs.Ĥ. What's the deal with his "Showroom" concept vehicles? I think there have been the same 2 or 3 vehicles in that tab since I started playing about 9+ months ago.ģ. What are the Benny's Original Motorworks Vehicles in the "Stock" tab of Benny's page?Ģ. But even after Googling it, I find the vehicles and Arena War concept a little confusing. Since 6 of the Arena Vehicles are on sale this dripfeed week, I bought them all. I spent pretty much all my time grinding out obscene amounts of money, but of late, now that I have f**k ton of it and have really built up my criminal empire, I am expanding my horizons a little.
